The Mobile Legal Help Center, run by the New York Legal Assistance Group, will be offering help with personal matters such as evictions, foreclosure, public benefits, identity theft and immigration for three weeks in June for Harlem residents. NYLAG is partnering with Harlem City Council Member Mark Levine to bring the pro bono legal services to Harlem. Levine said, “it will be an opportunity to give underserved residents the help they need with their often complicated legal matters”. The legal van will be in Harlem for three weeks: June 3, June 10 and June 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The van will be at Levine’s district office, located at 500 W. 141st Street.
