Get Free Ice Cream in Central Park Over the Next 6 WeekendsYou can grab a free ice cream cone in Central Park in the coming weeks just as the temperatures start to rise. Brooklyn artist Spencer Finch will hand out free “sunset”-colored soft serve from a solar- and battery-powered ice-cream truck in Central park, near East 106th Street and Fifth Avenue, beginning Friday afternoon. The truck will be doing the giveaway every Friday and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. through June 20.
