“What’s Eating Harlem” is a local lifestyle television show that showcases Harlem’s new businesses. The program airs four times a week on channel 25, NYC Life — a city-owned TV channel. It started as a website in 2011, got on air in 2014, and now has 150,000 viewers a week. Each week the 25-minute show has three to four feature stories about Harlem. They include new restaurants, a style segment, Harlem history, and profiles of local celebrities. I had the opportunity to appear in their “Style Segment” in this episode below. The show is a month into its second season and is trying to keep its audience growing by connecting its viewers with some of the businesses it covers. The show airs new episodes every Thursday at 9:30 p.m., and airs reruns on Tuesdays at 3 p.m., Saturdays at 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sundays: LINK
