“Selfie” Named Word Of The Year For 2013!

Darnell Jefferson Selfie“Selfie” — defined as “a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website” Like I did here myself — has beaten out the word“twerk,” to claim the title of Oxford Dictionaries 2013 Word of the Year.
